dearli is a product of shaman ventures, llc. the company is a social connection app helping users maintain relationships with people they care about.

data collection

the app collects:

• account information: phone number (primary identifier), email, name, and profile details
• contacts: device contact names and numbers to match users with friends
• location: real-time data for venue suggestions, not stored persistently
• photos: profile images and shared photos stored securely in cloud storage
• calendar: google calendar integration to determine availability (real-time processing, not permanently stored)
• usage data: interaction logs, sparks created, and availability preferences

data use

data powers core features including sparks, crews, connection tracking, AI-driven suggestions, social health scores, push notifications, venue recommendations, and friend matching.

third-party services

dearli partners with supabase (database/authentication), twilio (SMS), anthropic claude (AI agent), google places API, google calendar API, resend (email), and expo/EAS (push notifications). we do not sell your data to any third party.

SMS & communications

users consent to receive one-time verification codes via SMS. opting out requires replying "STOP" to messages. alternative authentication methods include apple sign-in or email.

user rights

users can request access, correction, deletion, portability of data, or withdraw permissions via hello@dearli.so.

data retention & security

account data persists while active. deleted accounts are removed within 30 days. the company employs encryption (TLS) and supabase auth for security.

additional policies

the service prohibits users under 13. policy changes are communicated via app or email.
